Follower IQ (“we,” “us”) is an AI-powered social media strategy platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our Service, how we use it, and the choices you have. It works alongside our Terms & Conditions.

Information you give us directly
- Account details — your name and email address when you create an account.
- Business answers — what you tell us in the strategy questionnaire: business type, what you sell and to whom, your dream customer, your Instagram struggles, posting frequency, follower tier, and your 90-day goal.
- Communication — anything you send us by email or through our contact channels.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, and device/browser details.
- Cookies & analytics — described in section 5.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To generate and deliver your personalized strategy report.
- To create and manage your account and let you revisit saved reports.
- To respond to your questions and provide support.
- To improve, debug, and refine the Service and its recommendations.
- To send transactional messages and, with your consent, product updates.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.
4. Legal Basis
Where required (for example, under GDPR), we process your information based on your consent, the performance of our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in running and improving the Service, and compliance with legal obligations.
6. Third-Party Services
We rely on trusted third parties to run the Service — including our managed backend provider for database and authentication, our payment processor for paid services, and analytics tools. Each processor handles data under its own privacy practices. We never sell your personal information to anyone.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After you close your account, we retain data only as long as needed for legal, accounting, or security reasons, then delete or anonymize it.

We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, row-level access controls, and least-privilege access — to protect your information. No method is fully secure, but we work hard to keep your data safe and to respond quickly if anything goes wrong.

11. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed at anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe we’ve collected data from a child, contact us and we’ll delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. We’ll revise the “last updated” date above and surface material changes prominently. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
